Today, at approximately 10:30am, Public Safety received a report of a theft of money from a student. The student came to the Public Safety dispatch center in person and reported that he had been at building 410 and was approached by a person that asked him for $5.00 in cash. The student provided the individual with $5.00 in cash from his wallet, and reported that the individual saw that he had more money in his wallet. The student said the individual then demanded that the student give him the rest of the cash in his wallet, and the student complied. The student said he was not threatened with a weapon and was in no way harmed during the incident.
The description provided by the student of the individual in this incident is a black male, around 5’07” tall, older in age, wearing a white hat, white t-shirt, basketball-style shorts (color unknown), no glasses, no facial hair, with a protruding jaw.
