Wanna Go to England and Scotland during Maymester?

Hey, I wouldn’t make this offer to just anybody. A group of students will be taking ENG 205 or 206 as a Maymester course, and just to spice up the course a little, we’ll be taking the class to London and Edinburgh. After committing to nonrefundable airline tickets, one of our students had to drop out.
So…just for you, we have an airline ticket, hotel and hostel reservations, and an agenda of sites and study.
The course runs from May 7 to May 24. We’ll be in the classroom on May 7, 8, and 9. On May 10, we’ll hop on a plane and fly to London, where we’ll spend seven days. We’ll take the train to Edinburgh on May 18, and then fly home from there on the twenty-first. We’ll have three more days in the classroom, and the students will go home tired, happy, and with three hours of English literature credit in their hot little hands. And those are not just ordinary credit hours. They are highly transferrable, and a 200 level English course is needed for an Associate’s degree.
The total cost of the class will be in the neighborhood of $3000. About $2000 of that will be payable to the program and will cover airline tickets, accommodations, railpasses, London travel passes, and many of the attractions.  The individual students are responsible for tuition and afternoon and evening meals (breakfast is included in the accommodations). All students must be eligible to take ENG 205 or 206.
So, just because I like ya, I’m makin’ you this special offer. But ya need to snap it up quick!  If you’re seriously interested, contact Mr. Kirst (574-6419; mike.kirst@tridenttech.edu) or Ms. Abbott (574-6496; stacey.abbott@tridentech.edu), or you could stop in and see us in 510/118. We need to know by Monday, April 2.
